Australian Masters Games Thousands of sportsmen and women will converge on the City of Churches this October for the 13th Australian Masters Games. Participants will be competing to take home the coveted title of Australian Master for their chosen sport. The Games will be held in Adelaide, South Australia from 7 - 16 October and will aim to attract in excess of 10,000 competitors including 1,000 international competitors who will take part in over 60 sports. Table Tennis will again be front and centre at the Games, played at the Newton Sports Complex on 8-10 October. It is open to anyone over 35 years old, regardless of background or ability with the aim of encouraging lifelong participation in sport. Juniors will have to wait a couple of years to participate but are encouraged to come along to watch some incredible Table Tennis and cheer on your friends, family and favourite players. If you have the opportunity make sure you tune in, not just to see some amazing Table Tennis, but also because the higher the ratings the bigger the chance there will be for our great sport to get more air time. Coaching is one of the most rewarding aspects of any sport allowing the opportunity to help new and experienced players grow and improve, while also getting a greater understanding of Table Tennis. On the 13th and 14th of August a Level 1 Coaching Accreditation Course will be held at the Brighton Table Tennis Club. Booking for the course must be made by the 1st of August.
