Constitution

Table Tennis South Australia (TTSA) is incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 1985, an Act administered by the Office Of Consumer and Business Affairs.

As an incorporated body TTSA has its own "Corporate Identity" and is able to sue and be sued, enter into legal contracts, e.g. employment contacts, and to own property etc in its own right.

The constitution is in effect the rules adopted by TTSA that govern all major aspects of the administration of TTSA.  The constitution may only be changed at a general or annual general meeting of TTSA.

A new and updated constitution was passed at the November 2007 AGM.  The new constitution reflects how TTSA is to operate in the current environment to achieve its goals and objectives.

Strategic Plan

A strategic plan is like a road map that shows where an organization is heading.  Every successful organization has a strategic plan.  Simply put, strategic planning determines where an organization is going over the next year or more, how it's going to get there and how it'll know if it got there or not.

The Office for Sport and Recreation recognize the importance of having a Strategic Plan and require TTSA to have a strategic plan otherwise the sport of table tennis will not receive government funding.

The current Strategic Plan covers the period from the beginning of 2007 to the end of 2009 (3 years).
